- The team lost Jordan Black to free agency but gained Damien McIntosh. That's really not that much of an improvement their and neither player matches up Willie Roaf. We doubt if they get a franchise-type LT this offseason, but look for this to be a need for the next couple seasons.

- The Chiefs haven't had a viable downfield threat at the WR position in years. Eddie Kennison only has a couple decent season left, so don't be suprised if the Chiefs look to fill this need in the first round of the draft.

- The Chiefs re-signed Damon Huard this offseason and he will likely be the starter for the 2007 season, since Trent Green wants to be traded. Look for Green to wind up in Miami, so the Chiefs will want to add some depth here, beyond Brodie Croyle

- The teams has signed Alphonso Boone in free agency, but they may want to add some younger DTs via the draft. The Chiefs started out the year solid against the run, but wore down as the season went on.

- Sammy Knight is a good player, but he's getting a little long in the tooth. Look for the Chiefs to take a stab at a young safety early in the draft. If Brandon Meriweather is there in the second round, the Chiefs should jump on him.
